The story about this quilt started with my husbands old shirts. I wanted for a long time to use them to make a new quilt for our bed. I needed to by a few more plaided fabrics to blend in with the shirts.
The quilting is very simple, and I used knots in every corner. The binding is made of several fabrics. I love the quilt, it is soft and warm. And it is on our bed very day.

I hope this translates for you - I love your quilt and it is so very special that you get to wrap yourself in your husband's shirts while you sleep.
What a wonderful way to recycle and reuse! Your quilt came out great! I have a stack of my husband's old shirts and now I know what to do with them. Thank you for sharing and the inspiration!
Hello! Your quilt is really beautiful! My patchworks begun also thinking of my hb:s shirts. For that quilt the top is finished and waiting for quilting.
I love all those soft colours you have used and the simple pattern is beautiful!

Hei hei. :-)

Ha en deilig søndag :-)
Hjelpe meg.... Du må ha en mann som jobber i bank, minst! Her går det i svarte og hvite skjorter, stor sett...
Denne quilten er en av mine favoritter. Klassisk og tidløse farger i myke, deilige skjortestoffer. Kjemperomantisk å dele med mannen din!
; )
what a great idea to use up those shirts! I love your quilt, it looks so cosy and heartwarming.
